About Qur'an Blog
Qur'anic Islam
Motivation:
The authors of this website desire to serve Muslims seeking to reconcile traditional Islamic teachings with what is seen in today's world. The approach is founded on Qur'anic Centrality: Restoring the Qur'an as the primary guide and overcoming its historical sidelining. With this, our hope is to Qur'anically address contemporary challenges and point to new solutions. All of this by Allah's permission.
Who are we?
Consider that it doesn't matter for now. The authors aim to depersonalize the material on this site to shift focus from contributors' personalities to the content, evidence, reasoning ("how" and "why"), and arguments presented. Studiers are asked to critique the arguments, not the originators or their assumed hidden motivations. References to existing literature will be provided to facilitate cross-checking.
Qur'an resource:
This site features a unique audio version of Muhammad Asad's The Message of The Qur'an, digitized from public text to aid auditory learners. Asad’s work is a vital bridge between traditional and modern scholarship; we ask for blessings upon its creators and highly recommend his written translation and commentary.
